THE CHOIR - Cantabilé was formed in 2006 by Jean Holt. Jean has been conducting and running musical ensembles for many years, and has always wanted to direct her own friendly choir.
JOINING THE CHOIR - We are always looking for new members. All that is required is a fun approach to music making, and an ability to sing in tune! A short informal audition is required. Please contact Jean if you are interested.
ORCHESTRAS - We give regular performances with our own orchestra, which consists of local professional and semi-professional musicians.
COST - Subscriptions of £45 are collected twice annually. This is to cover the huge cost of music hire, venue hire, and orchestra hire. We are a non profit organisation.
OUR HOME - We rehearse at St Luke's Church, Wellington Road, Parkstone, BH14 9LF and indeed give most of our concerts here. The church is a family friendly Anglican Church in Poole, Dorset.
